Redeemables Upscale Resale has moved to a new location in Johnson City, and it is fabulously adorable!
Hey, y’all! Welcome to Sweet Sorghum Living–a place to sit a spell with a good cup of coffee and chat about everything from gluten-free goodies to handmade goodness. Today on the blog, we are taking a peek inside the new Redeemables shop + talking about the DIY snowmen that Abby and I made at their Pinterest party.
Redeemables is a place where they are redeeming the old, the lost, the broken + repurposing found objects, upcycling the discarded, and creating treasures. Their motto is “Everyone is redeemable and most everything is redeemable!” Sherry and Debbie are the sweetest of friends, and they are working hard to bring a bit of love and sparkle to the world not only through their shop, but also through the youth development and mentoring program Rise Up.
Now, let’s get this party started with a tour followed by a quick DIY.

Not only can you buy already made items from Redeemables, but you can also request custom orders–from chalkboards to painted furniture.

Looking for adorable painted furniture at a reasonable price. Head on over to Redeemables for a nice selection *smile*

One of my favorite things about Redeemables is the Pinterest parties. January’s DIY craft was a snowman family.
Now, let’s take a quick look at how to build your own snowman family…or trio of snowmen…or just a snowman.

When we arrived at the Redeemables Pinterest party, the boards were already cut. You can easily cut a 2×4 to three different lengths or have your local home improvement store do it for you.

We all had a blast painting the bodies of our snowmen! Sherry and Debbie were the sweetest instructors + painting with friends is way more fun that painting alone!
Abby and I enjoyed being at the Redeemables Pinterest party. I was having such a good time that I did not really concentrate on my snowmen trio–so, when I got home I revamped them a bit. Check out the Facebook page for how I gussied them up.
Thanks so much for sitting a spell with me today as we took a little peek inside the new Redeemables Upscale Resale in Johnson City + chatted about how to build a snowman family.

My apron matched my outfit! Stay tuned for an upcoming blog about how I struggle with having my photo taken + taking selfies. All the cool bloggers are doing it *wink*
What lovely and clever stuff, my talented blogger friend Chasidy!
Thank you so much! Your kind words and support mean so much to this little blogger 🙂
