The Crepe Myrtle Murder Mystery

Today, I want to discuss something that has been bothering me for a long time.  Until now, I did not have the courage to speak out…to express how I really feel about this terrible injustice that is happening…

I have friends that do it.  I have family that does it.  I am happy to say that I have never done it.

I just cannot figure out where it all started.  Who decided that it was the right thing to do?  Was it a bandwagon effect?  Or keeping up with the Joneses? Someone please tell me…help me understand.

It is ugly…ruthless.  It leaves behind marks that will never go away.  Always there.  Knotty…crippled…

Then there are those that are cut off in their prime…just chopped off…no rhyme or reason…

I cannot sit back anymore and watch this happen.  I must know why.  I have had generic answers like “it was getting too big” and “all the neighbors are doing it”…

A little research and planning would have prevented the “too big” problem….

And if your neighbor jumped off a bridge, would you?  Peer pressure…really?

Find good examples to follow.  Do your own homework.  Stop copying others work.  It really is that simple.

Gorgeous and natural…at the Summit in Birmingham, Alabama

Reaching to the sky…it all its glory…with all its branches.

Look at that trunk! Now, that’s good looking.

Thanks for sitting a spell with me today.  Please feel free to comment and post confessions.  I truly want to understand.

Have a Blessed Day,
