Whispers of fall color are beginning to show.
Hey, y’all! Welcome to Sweet Sorghum Living–a place to sit a spell with a good cup of coffee and enjoy good conversation. Today on the blog, we are chatting about the first signs of fall foliage in the Northeast Tennessee area. My plan is to explore areas of Southwest Virginia, Northeast Tennessee, and parts of North Carolina–it all depends on time and weather. The rain spoiled my trip to Abingdon today *sad face* But we really needed the rain *happy face*

In person, it is easy to see the hints of yellow and deep red. Because I am not a photographer and shoot on automatic, I cannot capture those really gorgeous shots you see in all the magazines *wink* But can anyone really capture the true beauty of nature?

Always take advantage of the observation points/highway overlooks because these spots have great views + they make it easier to take photos safely.
I am so looking forward to seeing this view come alive with the colors of Autumn!
Look at that touch of sienna brown showing up on God’s canvas. This is going to be the best fall ever because it will be like watching Bob Ross paint *RIP Bob Ross, we love you and your happy, little clouds*
